Google Ad Sense

I have been trying for months to find the best and most cost effective ways to advertise Primsy Doodle Designs. Let's face it, even though I have wonderful clipart designs, I have to get people to my site to see them before anyone will know they even exist. I have found quite a few wonderful ways to do this.

1. Myspace- Myspace is not only a great way to network , but also really fun :) ( Cost-free)
2. Newsletters- A great way to let potential customers know when you have added new products or are having a sale. I use constant contact. (Cost- $15/mo)
3. Blogs- Such as this blog. You can offer advice, network with other blogs and offer services and or freebies. (There are lots of other things you can do as well). (Cost-Free)
4.Google Ad words..this can be a very effective ay to draw potential customers to your site. Just make sure you select the maximum price you wish to pay Google. (cost-defined by you)
5. Google Ad sense. I highly recommend this program for earning lots of money and not having to pay to use the service. I think this is one of the most important programs out there that you can utilize .

There are alot more ways to generate traffic and money. Don't give up too soon. It usually takes at least a year to see a large amount of targeted traffic.

Summer colds are the worst!

This year has been a sick year for me! I can't even count how many times I have been sick in 2007 and I am sick again. It almost seems like everytime my kids go to Going Bonkers (an indoor playground) I end up sick within a few days. So I am sitting here covered in vick's vaporub,downing tylenol and sudafed every four hours. It's hard to concentrate on drawing right now so I have been researching the various social networks out there. I already have a large (1000+) friends list on myspace,but there seems to be a TON of other networks ot there just waiting for me to discover. Finding the right ones though,that's the trick.

My traffic on primsy doodle designs has diminshed significantly due to the constant changing of domain names and url's in the past three years.
The latest change has been because my previous host up and dissapeared,leaving me high and dry! So I am working like a dog trying to relink everything. re-add all of my goods. re-do absolutely everything....Hard..hard...hard LOL

But I am not going to give up. There are those out there that would love for me to do just that. There is a graphic artist out there that goes above and beyond to make my life a living hell. Of course,I'm not mentioning any names but she is sucha b*tch that I am sure there alot of others reading this saying..."I know who she is talking about!" She likes to write emails degrading you and telling you how she is going to sick her lawyers on you. Anyways, enough on that right?Graphic artists should unite, not harass each other to the point of meaness!

I have been in this business since 2002 and that's a long time to me. I can't give up. I can't back down. Online success depends on how hard and how long your willing to work. I have been close to the top before and I can make it again.

Wow have I been busy! I have been adding everything back to Primsy Doodle Designs,watching my kids,and drawing new clipart! Of course, I love drawing so I can't go too long without doing it.

What happened to Primsy Doodles?

This has been a wonderful and horrible month for me. My personal life has been awesome! I got married on 7-07-07 in a cute lil' chapel in Illinois. It was a beautiful evening ceremony. My business life on the other hand,has been horrible. I came home from my wedding to find my website was gone! All that hard work down the drain. My host Prim Dreams, who I no longer recommend for anything, did not renew their hosting or whatever it is (LOL) and they went offline taking my website with them! I paid my hosting fee for the month and they did not warn me or anything so I did not back up my website!

So Debbie from Moon n Stars came to my rescue and I am now up and running again. I have to add everything one at a time and I am not even half way done. You have to back up your websites or you will be in my shoes.
